<p><strong>Willem Dafoe interpreta il pittore olandese in “Van Gogh: Sulla soglia dell’eternità”. Il film di Julian Schnabel uscirà il 3 gennaio nelle sale italiane.</strong></p>
<p><strong>La pittura incontra il cinema</strong>. E il risultato è un film attesissimo: <strong>“At Eternity’s gate”</strong>, in uscita il 3 gennaio nelle sale italiane. Il film narra gli ultimi anni di vita del più famoso pittore olandese, padre della corrente artistica dell&#8217;espressionismo. . A vestire i panni di Van Gogh è l’attore statunitense <strong>Willem Dafoe</strong>, vincitore della Coppa Volpi per il Miglior attore alla Mostra d’arte Cinematografica di Venezia e candidato al Golden Globe proprio per quest&#8217;interpretazione.</p>

<h2>“Van Gogh: Sulla soglia dell’eternità”: il cast</h2>
<p>Oltre a <strong>Willem Dafoe</strong> nel ruolo di Vincent Van Gogh, il cast comprende <strong>Rupert Friend</strong> nei panni del fratello Theo Van Gogh e <strong>Oscar Isaac</strong> nelle vesti dell’amico e collega Paul Gauguin. <strong>Mathieu Amalric</strong> è il Dottor Gachet, <strong>Emmanuelle Seigner</strong> è Madame Ginoux, <strong>Anne Consigny</strong> è l’insegnante, <strong>Amira Casar</strong> è Joanna Van Gogh (moglie di Theo), mentre <strong>Vladimir Consigny</strong> è il dottor Felix Rey e la figlia del regista <strong>Stella Schnabel</strong> è Gaby. Il film è stato presentato in anteprima mondiale durante la 75ª edizione della Mostra internazionale d&#8217;arte cinematografica di Venezia il 3 settembre 2018. La pellicola è distribuita da <strong>Lucky Red</strong> e sarà nelle sale italiane a partire dal <strong>3 gennaio 2019.</strong></p>
