<p>Intanto da Twitter <strong>Joshua Safran</strong> scrittore, sceneggiatore e produttore esecutivo della serie fa sapere di non gradire il termine reboot associato al nuovo Gossip Girl: <em>&#8220;Sono grato che la stampa parli di noi, ma <strong>non stiamo girando un reboot</strong>&#8220;.</em></p>
<p>Di fatto come <strong>Safran</strong> ha spiegato con un <strong>tweet</strong> in più punti, la nuova storia non è un remake, <strong>non si tratta di un rifacimento</strong>. Non sono cambiati solo gli attori, ma anche i personaggi. Non ci saranno più, infatti, gli amati <strong>Dan, Serena, Blair, Chuck e Nate</strong>, ma <strong>nuovi ragazzi con le loro nuove storie personali</strong>.</p>
<p>Si tratta piuttosto di una nuova storia anche se <strong>l&#8217;ambientazione</strong> è la stessa. I nuovi attori avvistati durante le scene con indosso le <strong>uniformi delle scuole </strong>sono: <strong>Thomas Doherty</strong>, <strong>Zion Moreno</strong>, <strong>Savannah Smith</strong>, <strong>Jordan Alexander</strong>, <strong>Evan Mock</strong>, <strong>Eli Brown</strong>,<strong> Emily Alyn Lind e Whitney Peak</strong> e <strong>Tavi Gevinson</strong>.</p>
