<p>The Double è un film prodotto negli Stati Uniti d&#8217;America, diretto da Michael Brandt (2 Fast 2 Furious, Quel treno per Yuma) e arrivato al pubblico statutinense nel 2011, mentre in Italia nel marzo 2012.</p>
<h3>Trama</h3>
<p>Negli Stati Uniti un senatore viene ucciso attraverso una modalità, un modus operandi che ricorda quello di &#8220;Cassio&#8221;, un assassino che aveva fatto parlare molto di sé e di cui non si hanno notizie da tempo. Ad indagare sul caso viene chiamato Paul Shepherdson, un agente della CIA fuori dal giro che per anni ha provato a catturare proprio l&#8217;omicida &#8220;Cassio&#8221;. Tuttavia, un grosso colpo di scena svelerà la verità su molte cose che si davano per scontate e mostrerà come la realtà sia molto diversa da ciò che si pensava.</p>
