<p>Una<strong> scossa tellurica</strong> di magnitudo pari a 6.1 si è verificata a <strong>Taiwan </strong>alle 13.01 locali, le 7.01 in Italia. Secondo l&#8217;Istituto geofisico di americano, l&#8217;Usgs, il sisma ha avuto epicentro a circa 10 km a nord-ovest della città costiera di Hualien ed ipocentro a 10 chilometri di profondità. Non vi sono notizie di danni o vittime e non è stata emessa l<strong>&#8216;allerta tsunami</strong>. La scossa è stata avvertita anche nella capitale, Taipei, a circa 115 km dall&#8217;epicentro: i grattacieli hanno oscillato seriamente mentre tutto il traffico automobilistico è stato interrotto sulle strade principali. Secondo i media locali, la <strong>superstrada Yilan-Hualien</strong> è stata chiusa a causa della caduta di pietre sulla carreggiata.</p>

<h2>Taiwan, scossa sismica di magnitudo 6.1. Nel 1999 un sisma di magnitudo 7.6 ha fatto 2400 vittime</h2>
<p>L&#8217;Agenzia meteorologica giapponese mette in guardia i residenti sulla costa sul possibile innalzamento delle acque, tuttavia non è stata lanciata alcuna <strong>allerta tsunami</strong>. Nel 2018 <strong>Hualien</strong> è stata colpita da un terremoto di magnitudo 6.4 che ha causato 17 morti. Nel 1999 Taiwan è stata colpita da un sisma di<strong> magnitudo 7.6</strong> che ha provocato circa <strong>2.400</strong> <strong>morti</strong>.</p>
